Villa Michelangelo is a building dating from the end of the 1700s and said to be the work of Counts Osboli of Vicenza who, enchanted by the breathtaking scenery of the Berici Hills, just 5 km from the city, decided to build their own residence here.
The luxurious rooms of the building, surrounded by a charming park, were an ideal setting for the parties and dances of the noble gentlemen of the time. Even though the rooms have been carefully renovated, they still maintain the elegant and aristocratic feel of days gone by.
The hotels 46 rooms and 6 suites with a view of the garden, are decorated with period furniture and expensive fabrics without overlooking modern conveniences. All the rooms have satellite TV, fax and computer sockets, direct phone line, air conditioning and safety deposit box.
There are also two first class restaurants inside the hotel - La Loggia and Il Melograno that serve traditional and elegant, regional and seasonal dishes and a swimming pool which becomes open air during the summer. The hotel is also ideal for various size conferences which can be accommodated in the 7 conference rooms and for small variety shows in the villas mini theatre.
